Hell's Canyon (continued)
Then, the next day, we pottered along for many more miles to discover that there is a road at the bottom of a portion of Hell’s Canyon which dead-ends at the Hell’s Canyon dam. Determined to see the actual canyon and the actual river in the canyon, we drove the 22 miles to the dam, and this is what we saw. It is difficult to capture the massiveness of these cliffs looming over the canyon, but I’ve given it my best shot.
