After leaving Flaming Gorge I headed south, but detoured through the Colorado Rockies just for the sheer joy of it. There are an awful lot of beautiful places in the west, and the Colorado Rockies are right up there with the beautifulest. I didn’t take a lot of photos, but here are a couple showing the Aspens beginning to turn to gold.
