Rio Grande Del Norte 10/22

If you want to camp in Rio Grande Del Norte, this is the place to do it. I only spent one night here and I don’t remember why, but I suspect it was probably due to weather. All I remember is being perched on the edge of this impressive canyon with the river far below…awe inspiring!

I really need to give a shout-out to iOverlander here because I might not have found this site right on the rim of the canyon if not for that app. There are multiple good resources for finding campsites out there, and I’ve used a few different ones over the years, but iOverlander became my go-to app because they show where to get drinking water as well as campsites and other resources (laundry, propane, dump stations, etc.). For a full-time road-warrior, the subscription cost seemed well worth it.
